FARMER SONG FEST PRESENTS
RUNNING OF THE TREES

Help us kick off Farmer Song Fest with our 5K Race, 1 Mile Walk, and Kid's Fun Run for all ages and dogs. Bring your old shoes and favorite Farmer clothes for this cross-country adventure through the trees, fields, ditches, and ponds.

Schedule of Events

4:00 pm - Race Registration, T-Shirt & Farmer Song Fest Ticket Pick-Up  
5:00 pm - Running of the Trees 5K Race, 1 Mile Walk, and Kid's Fun Run Begins  
6:00 pm - Farmer Song Music Fest Begins - 1st Band  
7:30 pm - Running of the Trees Winners Announced  
8:00 pm - Farmer Song Music Fest - Pumptown Band of Ellston, IA  
9:30 pm - Farmer Song Music Fest - Final Band

Course Descriptions

5K Race: 3.1 mile cross-country loop across Hynek Tree Farm through woods, around ponds, mixed hills & flat grass trail, possible mud

1 Mile Walk / Free Kid's Run: 1 mile cross-country loop across Hynek Tree Farm through woods, around ponds, mixed hills & flat grass trail, possible mud

Entry Fee

5K / 1 Mile Walk:
$25 for pre-registration online by June 19th or via mail postmarked by June 14th.
$30 for Race Day registration, June 21st.
Entry fee includes Running of the Trees T-Shirt and one Farmer Song Fest admission ticket ($10 value).

1 Mile Free Kid's Run: Kids 10 & under.
No charge. Does not include t-shirt. Must sign waiver.

May purchase Youth T-Shirts or additional adult T-Shirts for $10 at registration table. Shirt sizes are distributed on a first come first serve basis.
Additional music festival tickets may be purchased by mail or online with race registration.

Medals awarded in five male/female age categories:  
10 & under, 11-16, 17-35, 36-50, 51 & over.

  $50 award for the 1st place overall male winner.  
$50 award for the 1st place overall female winner.
